    Hello, I'm Jeff
Been collecting parts and studying this site for a few years. Grew up in the motor city, dad raced muscle cars, always telling me history and taking me to shows and races. Put me in his turbo vw dragster early on. I was a lucky kid. I've had several cool rides but the model A's brought a whole new p***ion. I'm hooked.
I'm a novice fabricator, built sand rails, drift cars, baja trucks, trailers...
Built some engines too, 350s and vw's. Just finished a flathead for the rpu.
I moved to SoCal bout 10 years ago. Wasted a lot of time the past few years, on a new course now. I've never been so happy to work on anything.
Hope to make some friends here, know I've got a lot to learn maybe I can be of help as well,
I'm grateful to be apart of this community!

    Thanks for the welcome,
I'm anxious to show my build and get some feedback.
Haven't been able to post any pics,
guessing I have to post questions and comments first to be "accepted"

    My car history in order
Sweet 16- got handed down from sister 78 Camaro p.o.s. crazy burnouts
I put a old skateboard deck under the carpet to cover the giant rust hole.
Then bought a 80 z28 drove it like a lunatic till I crashed it. Only new one throttle possision wide open.
Better slow my roll, 63 bel air strait 6 (big back seat). Lasted 2 years before rod let go
So now it's time for graduation. Was given a few bucks from family, what to get
74 vw camper, traveled this beautiful country 3+ months, was daily driver many years
Move to Cali. got a f350 to tow racecars (took dads sand dragster west with me)
61 bug, these cars are a blast to drive. Some ***holes stripped it one night left me with no windows lights or carbs. Decided to build it into a racecar. 300hp carbed 4 cyl 2650cc
53 bellair, friend found in barn in mi. Shipped to ca but sold money got tight.
Decided I want to build a 29 rpu and started rounding up the goods...
That's how I found the hamb. Best site in the web...
