Well, today is the first day in about two weeks that it hasn't been over 100 degrees out. I made some good progress on the strip down of my '51 Pontiac Chieftain..... but I cracked the drivers side windshield. It is a two piece windshield.

    sooo......

Anyone know of a good place to get a drivers side windshield for a 1951 Pontiac Chieftain?

    Thanks,
    Ed

It is laminated gl***, you should be able to have one cut locally!

    His windshield isn't flat.

Ed, maybe someone can check their old Hollander interchange and see what fits. I'm thinking that more than Pontiac fits.

49 - 51 Chevy, Pontiac, Olds 88 (1949only) . 50 olds 88, 51 Olds 88A have one piece windshields that will fit if you remove bar. Like body styles

I believe they sell them new on eBay. May be listed as Chevy. If not I have a few parts cars that maybe ok. Some delamination. Depends the quality you're lookin for.

Smart thinking. This isn't your first rodeo, is it?:p:D

Did the same thing on my truck. Pulled drivers window, that was cracked, replaced with new. Week later go to replace window track on p***. side (good gl***) ...snap! Should have done it all at one time.
