I need some ideas on hooking up a PCV on my Buick Nailhead.
It's a 65 401 with the stock valley pan, so it has the draft tube hole. I'm running 6 - 97's on a log manifold. Obviously there is no way to pick up vacuum at he base of the strombergs, I do not want to make spacers for all 6. Any advice would be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Jerry

This may be dumb, but aren't the logs connected by a tube, and can you not tie into that?

Yes, there are 2 rubber hoses that run between the logs. I'm not sure if you can tie into these and be effective.

Yes it will work just fine. This big port in the balance tube was used for the brake booster on an off topic car. The smaller one was for the vacuum advance. Not as easy as drilling and tapping an aluminum intake but it will work.

I only have two crossover tubes, between the 2 front carbs and 2 rear carbs. Which one would be the best to tap into, or does it not matter?

All a PVC does is provide clean air in and dirty air out. Anyplace there is intake vacuum with a 3/8 hole is a good source so long as its not to far. I like to make a 3/8 hole close the where the valve will be to keep the hose short. On some engines it can be underneath in the valley out of sight. It doesn't care. Be sure you have clean air going into the engine.
