I have '54 Dodge Royal with a '61 Chrysler 300 rear end. It works fine but it's too wide. Tires rub at times, but not bad. The problem is when I have to remove the back wheels, I have to remove one end of the leaf spring to take the wheel off. If I get a flat on the road, Im in deep s**t. The one I have now measures 54 inches pack plate to back plate. Is there a mopar rear end that anyone recomends to replace the current one that isnt as wide?
I would also like to keep the same bolt pattern.

    Thanks for your help.
