Hello rodders. My name is Mike and I have been into auto repair and restorations since 1978. The old timers broke me in when I was 16 years old sweeping and cleaning the shop my father had bought. I learned a lot from them and was intrusted with some of their old tools when they retired. I was taught to stretch and shrink metal and even lead work. I was taught how to straighten frames and do collision work. Now Im into MY projects. I searched years for the right body that I wanted to work. After a few years, my heart is in the world of the Model T Ford. I found a 26-27 Ford Model T coupe that is in good shape. This will be my canv*** to work from. I am making my own frame and have drawn up many sketchs as to what I will end up with. I have been on the outside looking in on your forums at times and have used a lot of your ideas and tech threads to help me along. Now I hope I can learn even more from you rodders and possibly even share an idea or two along the way. Thanks for having me a board.
You sound like a good guy who will go far in the field. Learning from the oldtimers is a blessing.P*** it along as you can. Welcome from an A.A. County resident. Oldmics
