Event Coverage The H.A.M.B. Drags Are Coming!

You're supposed to join the caravan of folks heading to mokan from the salt

 

that would be REALLY cool to do and but i am flying out to UT and getting a rental car. and have a filght back from UT on Fri. so i wouldnt have a mode of transportation to and home from the drags that way but i am going to see if i can find someone from around here that is interesting in going so i have a co pilot for the drive

 

Looking forward to it again this year. Never a bad year for the Drags! Vending this year, looking forward to seeing everyone again.

 

It's going to be a long week for those of us going to Bonneville as well. Wz and I will be getting home Wednesday or Thursday. I'll work one or two days accordingly and then head towards Joplin. Can't wait. For now the sweltering heat has diminished. We've got low 90's and lower humidity this week. It feels compared to what we've been through. Sam

 

Always thought it would be fun to take this B/SR, two time National Champion to it,... but due to a number of reasons,... I am just putting the pieces together and moving her along,.... Maybe the next owner will take it to the HAMB Drags some year.... I'd really like to see that.

 

As always I am looking forward to it. Kind of stoked, my 10 year old son is finally coming around and wants to go. Can't think of a better event than the HAMB Drags to take him too.

Man, I got nuttin... The only thing I have done to the car is put about 20K more miles on her since the last time. If I had anything for dasheafers big blown Model A coupe, I would fess up.

I'm just looking forward to the trip and hanging with all my HAMB Drags brethern at number 10. Hard to belive it has been that long, eh?

Will there be "special" parking for old rides at the end of the pits like last year? Was nice not to have to worry about new door dings from the parking area.

did my first testing last weekend and shucked an axle and carrier, so work to be done before the 18th!

 

Broke mine last weekend but I think i will get it fixed in time......

 

I'm taking mine to the strip in Tucson this weekend...last time I went there (a year ago), dropped a valve and got to spend some money fixing stuff.

The AC has been broke lately and is unlikely to be fixed in three weeks.

Thought there was a chance I might be able to make it back this year. Looks like I'll be in Buffalo that weekend seeing family. Oh well next year maybe!
