    my name is matt im 17 and im from modesto california, just wanted to stop by and say hey while learnin some stuff you guys. Im into the older cars from the 50's and early 60's, and just recently i have put together a 327 that ive been getting parts for.

    Nice shot of the motor. I can read the casting numbers off the back--that's awesome. I can't quite make out the head castings though. I love running the numbers--3782870 --327ci, 1962-1965, 2-bolt mains, small journal block. Check out http://www.mortec.com for a great reference on chevy small blocks if you haven't already found it. I think a nova II would be a great use for that motor.

    yea i ran um it also said it had 375hp stock the heads are 881 heads castings off a 350, with 1.94 and 1.50 valves. when i get the money to rebuilt the 461's ill put them on.
