Does anyone have any idea where I could get the smaller of the two sunvisor supports that attach to the centre of the windshield frame. I have the longer one but the shorter one is missing.

By the way I'm still needing '47-48 Buick power window switches Thanks.:(

  3. When I got my Fulton visor from the USA a few yrs ago it was missing one of the centre supports, personally I thought that they would have been very flimsy at best anyway...........so a mate & I made a new stronger centre support that clamped together around the centre bar out of approx 20guage stainless steel.........I have seen pics of a visor that was blown back and as these are very hard to find here in Oz, let alone costly I thought this would be a better option.........anyway, its shiney & I like shiney........also when I received the visor it was still painted underneath in the zinc chromate green that they were originally, but very worn, anyway when I decided to paint the visor to match the car I realised the primer I was using was virtually the same shade as the interior roof lining and suited the look, especially from the inside of the car, so I left the underneath the grey primer.........just my 2 cents worth......andyd

I just bought my visor from Mother Trucker, one of the members on this sight. I suspect it will show up in my mail today. Restoration of the visors is something he does.

Nice car but your Sunvisor is not a "Fulton"

  7. Well, considering that it has a 3" round chromed plate on either side that has stamped into it " The Fulton Sunshield Company Milwaukee USA" I'd say that it IS a Fulton visor........this plate covers a large round serated adjustment fiting that fits into an alloy mounting bracket that bolts into the inside of the A pillar, normally I suppose this mounting bracket is painted, as its alloy and I like shiney I polished it .........the pic of centre mount that I posted shows the polished stainless lower bracket I made, the upper painted piece is the original fulton bracket.
