OK, should I reinforce the original 1929 frame with one of the kits on line or should I buy a new frame that’s already done?

Either your way. You can box your original frame. Make a template, go to your local welding shop and have them cut out the steel for it. Make them where they fit up inside the frame and you will have a nice clean job. Or but them pre-made. By the way, this is the intro board. Questions should be asked in the main forum.

My name is Paul Taylor; I am from Phoenix Arizona and have lived in Arizona all my life. I have had servile cars in my youth that I would like to have back starting with a 1965 Dodge. I have recently purchased a 1929 Dodge two door at a yard sale of all places. I have been searching the web for advice on parts as well as different ideas and H.A.M.P keep coming up so I figured this was the place to be, to get advice on the correct way to build a street rod. I am looking forward to talking and getting advice from each of you as well as how to post and work my way through the site.
