My first car was a 56 Ford Parklane wagon. I loved that thing, wish I still had it. I've only seen one other in person.

That's a sweet buy.. I know the sickness all too well.. After a 64 c10, 64 f100, 71 chevelle, 49 Chevy wrecker, 48 model b John Deere, 77 f100 and a 55 international harvester tractor I had to start slapping my hand when it went for my wallet.. Lol..

The Ford wagon is a nice catch. Body and stainless look real nice.
Station wagons are once again kool. I bought mine back when they weren't cool yet. Great parts hunters if you ever go looking for just parts.
Admitting you are addicted is a start. But the only cure is getting too damned old to hunt and too broke if they come to you. Running out of room also sucks!

  12. MG: If thats the top half of the tailgate laying inside the car it seems you have all the necessary parts peculiar to the wagon. Great find, glad the right person got it! Could have been crushed! Hope you can get it under way soon. Keep us in pics. Tim

It is, I already rounded up a front turn signal pod, and a two door sedan front seat, SO when the time comes I'll have all the hard to find parts rounded up

Not a stupid question at all.

More often than not, "Ford juice brakes" refers to the '39-'48 Ford hydraulic variety.

These are 11" bendix brakes that stop way better than the " juice brakes " they are the lockheed style . But these spindles will fit 28-48 ford axles... The brakes micht fir 42-48 spindles as well...

that trailer would have made a good portable build table.. put a thick plate on it and you have a frame table
