Finally finished my 50 chev rag. Went to a show last weekend for a shake down run, kinda liked this pic even though its from a camera phone. Got a feeling of what's next.... Anybody else ever feel like after your project is complete (OK I know they are never complete , but as complete as your going to get it) What next? I know I won't be happy just driving this one around and not having something to fiddle with.

I'm in the same boat. Been looking for a '34 Ford or late 40's p/u. I lose interest when a car/truck is road worthy. Idle hands are the work of the devil.

Aaagggghhhh you got that lost feeling, my wife wants to kill me at this point , appearantly I become mental , I'm always broke at the end of a build so I go help friends with there builds or scrounge up enough cash and build a bike there cheap, quick and easy and takes the sting outta having nothing to do all of a sudden

  11. Nice car. I know what you mean. My car is getting close and I keep thinking about what I'm going to next.

What did you use to hold your skirts on your car?

I can't even IMAGINE not having at least 4 projects waiting. I'll never live long enough to finish all mine.

    idle hands....

I know exactly what you mean. When I finished my '28, I would come home from work and wonder what to do? For years I would change my clothes and head into the shop, I felt lost.

So I took something apart that didn't need to come apart, and so on...

    it's a disease :D

ALWAYS start your next project 1/2 way thru your last, that way you can score deals on all of the coolest parts for 1/2 the price...

Drive the wheels off it and wear it out and then you will have it to do over again. It should only take five or six years of serious road trips to get it to where it needs to be freshened up.

But projects always have a way of finding a guy who has finished the last one to the point it doesn't need much except maintenance.

It should be noted that i buy parts for projects 8 cars in advance, so basicly when i get to my next project ive paid pennies on the dollar for amazing space ship parts.....

I was just at my buddies shop and this 36 3 window olds was sitting there for sale! He didn't know the price so I'm heading back down to meet the owner. Is Friday the 13th going to be my lucky day? Been looking for a 3 window for years...
