Do those clowns keep ANYTHING in stock?? this is the 2nd time their **** is "backordered" and not coming in till end of the month.....sad thing is, I wasnt notified, and had to track it down myself. Sorry for the rant.....they just piss me off Used to get my stuff from them in a timely manner, not anymore.......
In all my experience w/ them, its been pretty bad too. Im sorry your going through this, I will only use them on a last resort.
I understand the antenna balls are hand made in Andorra and the trip by yak over the mountains to the nearest shipping point takes 3 weeks. Be patient!
as always -- would never order some stuff from them -- specially from oversea -- I so fu*.%# hate 'em
Yeah, it's sad a company with such heritage is being ruined by sloopy management They are only good for stickers and t-shirts as far as i'm concerned.
good thing I dont want any Moon balls on my ****...... what the hell has happened to this company?? I used to get stuff from em pretty quickly. Maybe we should charge em more for their booth at our show
Hell....I ordered a T-shirt from them awhile back. I asked if they had it in my size and was it in stock. She replied in the affirmative to both. She lied ! She lied 2 or 3 other times I called. I eventually got the thing but it took forever and I learned to NEVER call there again. I can understand the delay....the lies I can't deal with !
a good friend has some custom size discs on order for a super-secret project. He's trying to get it done for Speed week. This ain't helping my confidence...
I'd guess it's pretty likely they produce their own spun aluminum discs and should be able to control delivery on those. Where there's likely trouble is what they may source from someone else.
They usually have the stuff there its just in the trailer they haul out to shows. Iv'e been down there to get something and if its in the trailer, forget it. They say its too much work to open it and dig through everything for one item.
Hey, cut 'em some slack! At least the Japanese owner's been pretty loyal to the traditional roots of the company and still offers many of the old products. If, when Dean Moon p***ed away, the company had been acquired by Holley or Mr. Gasket, I'm sure it would only be a shell of it's former self and much of the low-volume specialty stuff would no longer be available. Maybe they aren't perfect, but everybody's got to be able to make a buck to stay in business. Excuse me, while I go plug into my amp -- with my new Mooneyes cable-- and play some tunes to get this off my mind.
Not for nuthin', but I called Moon in desperation last week to see if they might have a steering wheel adapter for my '55 Buick. The girl that answered the phone checked the listing and told me they didn't list one for my application, then she went on to say she would call Grants (who makes the adapters) and to call her back in a few minutes. I called her back in 15 minutes and she said that Grants told her they didn't make the adapter I needed (36 spline, 3/4" o.d.). She could have just left it at "We don't carry one.", but she went the extra step for me. That's my one & only experience with Moon in many, many years and I don't doubt the stories y'all tell, but I was treated right. Just my 2¢
