they fade in the sun and crack easily when used in looms. At least the ones ive seen have and from a different vendor but im sure same product.

  3. I sent them an email a month ago asking what type of wires they were, but got no reply.

"High Performance Wire" and "Modern Technology" isn't a very good description as to what the hell these wires actually are.

From what I have researched, those wires are NOT the same as ones from everyone else. These are the only ones I have seen that are cloth covered but are silicone suppression wires so they will work with electronic ignitions without causing RF noise related problems.

I do not recommend them from the mentioned company.

Other than that I will keep my opinion of the aforementioned company to myself.

At the time I did an article on plug wires last year, theirs were solid-cores, just like the majority on the market. This info was p***ed on to them, however, I cannot say whether the current offering is the same or not (judging from the screen shot, they are). I do know someone who's got a set on his hoodless roadster--the faded cloth prompted a further inspection, and while the appearance had no impact other than cosmetics (constant exposure to the CA sun has that affect), after peeling a rubber boot back, it was determined that they were of non-suppressed copper strand construction. Perfectly fine for points, but a gamble for many newer electronic systems.
