So I was trolling craigslist a month or so ago and found some folks trying to sell they're hot rod. Decided I'd go take a look and ended up making an offer. Car was built in the 70's and then someone wanted a streetrod so they bondo'd up the seems then gave up.

The pic with the chrome wheels is where it started and after plenty of work I've got something more reliable and a bit more traditional.

Hey, how come you took the "Street rod" emblem off the grill?

Actually I hung it on the wall to remind the car that if it decides to act up on me it'll go right back to being a streetrod!

Thanks guys, I appreciate all the comments.

I swapped the 90's billet taillights out last night so now it's time to drive it as I tackle all the little **** I missed the first time around and then I'll get after the body and maybe paint it in the winter.

Stance looks really great, I was building my car to be channeled, Model A, but have recently sold the channeled body and bought a 29 Rpu and will NOT be channeling it. To each their own , but I wanted more leg room. Your car looks great, nice save, love the wheels and white walls!

It was never a street rod because it did not have the required SBC in it.
