Do yourself a favor use your own ideas,don't be a copy cat stay clear of flash off the walls.Find your self a compatent artist and he will draw something for you based off your ideas and or example pictures.DO NOT shop for tattoos based on who is the cheapest price because you will get what you pay for

Yeah, i'll get right on snapping pics of all the kick *** custom work I've spent probaly 3k on over the years so it can get ripped off and mangled......

 

you can get mom on your arm. she'll see it and be proud. and when you look down, you'll see wow. it's like 2 tattoos in one.

I dont think he wants to get a tattoo just like someone else he just wants some inspiration.

I only have one tattoo that I picked off the wall. A year later my buddy comes by to show me his new tat. Yup the same one. Years later me and a guy are showing off our ink at work and guess what. Same tattoo. I think its kind of funny now. I call it my #52.

 

heres a few of mine, the first two are sailer jerry. i got all 50s style tattoos, with some new colors. some "persey waters" 1930s, custom stuff by my friend matt wes, who i built a 51 chevy for my tattoos. my fav tattoo is my b-25 "billy mitchell" on my left arm under my "home" tattoo.

Yeah...man be original i have alot and all are from fellow H.A.M.B.er Jeff Shea....and about 90% is car related.......

 

first off it's Percy Waters not "persey" if you were inspired by him you should at least know how to spell his ****ing name. doing a yahoo search and finding names and linking them to what you like or is cool ****s. dig up the history. Percy, Stoney, Cap Coleman, and other greats are probably rolling in their ****ing graves over this ****. i can find the good in most all tattooing(very little in tribal with the exception of true tribal tattooing). true traditional tattoos have 3 colors tops. RED/BLACK/GREEN. and even then alot of the red and green "fell out". anyhow just struck a nerve. this is the kind of **** thats driven the price of vintage flash and stuff through the roof. i have a longtime love of this and just find it saddening...ken....

 

i here what you're saying but why does it drive the prices through the roof?

just wondering because i was wondering why the prices of good tattoos are so high. there is no way people payed these prices i've heard of. (counting inflation)

anyway, like i said i used new colors. i know there was only 3 colors.

i didnt do a yahoo search on anything. i found most stuff in books, if not custom.

god damn thats 2 negative posts twords me.... wtf i was just trying to help out. god damn.

 

why are they quoting such high numbers? because with SO many saying they are tattoo artists you get what you pay for. good ink IS expensive. even a stupid super simple flash off the wall no details trace it and its done in one color the size of a dollar bill is going to cost you 150 bux.

 

oh and by the way i got all my tattoos for car work.
