WOW that picture is alot better. Yeah that back window looks f*cked, I wish there was abetter side pic. It also could be fixed, not the end of the world. looks like they layed the window to far down and did not match the flow of the roof. Still for 2k or cheaper its still fixable.
No others out there that I am aware of, and thinking this was/is his first attempt at it. Wish that window wasnt so bad...really scaring me away from the project....d*mn.
It looks like the rear window is lying down nearly flat--seeing additional pictures would be helpful probably as the angle and black paint may be tricking the eye. See if you can go back and pull the car outside for some pictures. Get some shots that line up the pillars from side to side through the windows-- You need to get some distance between you and the camera to see the profile of the roof/car.. That's ultimately what the chop is all about--the profile and aesthetics. Go back there before the "good deal fairy" blinds you.. and look at it again
in the close up pic it looks like the top of the window opening and the rest of it are on two different plains probably why hes really selling it or atleast didnt finish it
You say you saw bondo on the inside? That doesn't sound good to me. You should see welds on the inside. I would p*** on this bargain.
probably better for you to walk on this one.but i can get 2 bad bodies but both have good tops.thats why i said id jump on it.but i really dont need anymore projects i aint gonna live long enough to finish the ones i got! lol and after seeing that blown up pic of the top, ouch!!!!
wow. that chop is messed up. if you look inside a chopped car and see bondo just turn and leave. don't even say goodbye.
Really can't tell much from the picture, but I do agree. The chop is not right. Nothing that can't be fixed. If it was me, I'd buy it for 2k
Glad to hear you got out of it. Shoeboxes are still out there. Id think it would be better and easier for the money to get a stock one and try to chop it yourself then try to fixed that bad chop..... over chopped and the rear window is a fail. You would drive yourself crazy trying to get that one right. Also its way cooler to have the bragging rights to say you cut up a perfectly good stocker!
