Projects Wanting to change the look of my 55 ford

After my 55 gets a Y block I am wanting to change the wheels for a different look,what ever I do I am not going to put skirts on it so I need to see how others with 55 or 56s look. I have the original dog dish caps or a set of aftermarket 57 lancers and considering whitewalls too.

 

lower the back, white walls, and hubcaps

 

stock looks best. Put the wire hub caps on.

 

My vote....whitewalls and Lancers Convertibles are cl***y and should have full wheel covers not dog dish....thats for lookin "bad-***"

 

Its going to be raised in the front a little.

 

Leave it alone, it looks great the way it is.

 

I kind of want to give it a late 50s to early 60s look.

 

Leave it alone or the full caps with wide whites IMHO. Blackwalls, dog dish caps like said above don't go with cl***y convertibles. Nice car BTW.

Raised in the front a little with the lancers and whitewalls is what is bouncing around in my head right now.
