OK, I'm nearly ( next month ) 68 and I run a small business American Auto Mags, selling mags and books, a few DVDs as well, to enthusiasts in the UK and Europe. Been doing it for 24 years plus ! We do rod shows every month up and down the country and operate a website www.americanautomags.com What do I drive? Well, all I've got is a 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria station wagon. Now, before you all laugh, it suits me fine; it takes all the opened cartons when I have a delivery and take them to the tip; it takes the crates of mags for my Cruise ( I set up a static cruise that attracts 100 - 150 cars, all sorts twice a month ( if the weather's good !) and . . I like station wagons. Hoping to get a 60's one next year. Mechanically I'm pretty useless; plugs, points, brake pads, that's about it. Been reading on here for years, love it . . . now I can talk as well. Evening all Graham
Welcome Graham from NYC. ...and too late, I'm already laughing at your 1987 LTD. I'm so glad the '80 are long gone. Enjoy the HAMB ~Carl
Welcome from Alabamoe, where cops use LTD's (Crown Victoria's) to outrun corvettes and 4 wheel drives.
Thanks for the welcomes. I'll probably still do more reading than writing on here but, if I can help in any way with contacts or anything else over here in the UK, just call out and I'll do what I can. Cheers Graham
