Heading off to Brunswick this morning and the weather still looks a little lousy.Could cop some rain on the way down.No roof for the roadster yet!!
I hope it will be clearing later today with some intermittent showers on Saturday and then fine Sunday. Here's hoping.

Will have photos when I get back on Monday.

  2. Best of luck, hope the weather changes for the better. I may go for a quick drive Sunday to check out the run. I have never been, I always find out about it after it is over.

Well the run this weekend was great. The weather was a little unkind to us on Friday and part of Saturday but it was still good.Sunday was the car show in the park and the weather cleared into a beautiful day for the show n shone.

This run is put on by Peter Paynter and Rod Brewer, plus a number of sponsors and helpers to make it a great weekend.Centered around the classic Brunswick Heads Hotel(which we now know is owned by none other thatn the great footballer Marck "Jacko" Jackson),the run is just a great laid back weekend with nice cars, people and music.
Thanks very much to the organisers and volunteers.

Each year the organisers bring out somone associated with hot rodding and this year the special guest was Paul Le Mat who starred in American Graffiti. He was busy Sunday autographing posters and pictures and then helping out with the trophy presentations.

The roadster was on its first official run and the car performed beautifully on the drive down and back. Thanks to Warren Wilkie for the build of this car.He is like the Brizio of Australia, building a nice traditional car that drives well.

OK enough of this now for the pictures.Over 100 photos to look at.
First pics are a couple of shots of the caravan park where we stay and of course the roadster.

Paul, the roadster looks great. And driving it must be even better.
A top award, and in the newspaper.
You seem good at doing this with your cars :)

Hope to get a look at it up close one day.

And there was agreat turnout for the weekend
