Projects I found a power unit with a 59AB flathead in it, let's see some other power units!

Pat: Any chance of finding out if there is a governor on that water pump engine? And if so, what kind of R.P.M. is it set for?

 

Here I am putting to good use our Schramm Model 60 complete with Schramm Air Hammer during construction of my shop.

Basically a Ford Flathead V-8 where 4 run the engine and 4 make air.

We rebuilt it a few years ago and use it mainly for sandblasting and occasional other uses...

 

Looks like maybe the point was more weight in front to lift more @ rear. Probably just hand oiled the crank bearings since RPM was so low because the only time it turned was in transit to & from lift area The whole truck has been lightened - not even glass.

No pictures of the wind machine that mine came out of. Farmer let us use his torch and forklift. Came with a four speed trans that had the separate bell housing needed for a t5 conversion. All which found a home in my modified.
