gee - considering that ALL flathead sixes are the same, it just HAS to be a ¾" LH thread.

come on...if you're asking a serious question, at least provide us with a basis from which to work. If you STILL don't understand, then you just might have to go to the library.

Grab a bunch of sockets. One of them should fit no matter who made the engine.

Rich is right. One of us will have to get some wrenches and try it. You are closer than we are.

Hang on...I'll dig out my Ouija board. First question to the Ouija board is "What engine is it"? (Translation: Give us a little more information...I'm sure someone can help you out):confused:

Here's an interesting fact I just had to overcome.

In repairing a direct drive water for my pump off my crankshaft nose on a Studebaker Champion 169 Cu. in, I discovered the crank bolt is an 11/16 X 16 TPI, RHT. Only thing is this is a special OEM, there is no such standard thread.

Had buggerred threads after drilled out broken modified bolt. How lucky can you get, my old time crankshaft grinding pals had the tap! Easy chase and another Studebaker damper bolt (modified) and I was back in business.

  9. without knowing what engine lets say 2'... i would give you a serious answer but mine is not here right now. just for future fyi i would recomend providing more info. i would assume this engine is in your 48 plymouth?
