Pretty decent shape, should be a good starting point for customizing it/ chopping it. I've never purchased a car from out of state. Was wondering what you guys suggest for getting it from here to there. Trying to to figure out what would be most cost effective. Hehe, ended up spending a little more than I had planned on to get the car, but oh well didn't want to lose it over 100 bucks.

  2. I think I would have reserched the shipping BEFORE I bid?:D From the midddle of the country to the coast expect to pay $1000-1500 to get it home.

Tman is right. That's a minimum $1K haul and I'm booked til Oct. You might try JimC or Junkyard dog 32.

    Good Luck,

Well car movers usa got me a quote for 700 which is pretty fair. I am gonna talk to the owner, and see how quick he needs it out of there from once I pay the full amount. Maybe he'll be willing to work with me to give me a little more time.

You could also take down a truck of a families member - rent a dolly from uhaul and that would be cheap. COuld do it in a weekend - make a road trip with a couple buds.

Johnny you mean the kind with the front tires mounted up on it right, and the back on the ground?

  9. THAT is a good cheaper way to do it- make sure you figure in gas ect though.

on my most recient purchase i was going to do that but once figuring in gas trailer rent, food, soda's a place to stay these guys were cheaper - http://www.expressautomovers.com

came to about $0.675 a mile

There are a lot of Colorado HAMBers here. If the seller needs it out of there, maybe one of us would have some extra garage space for it until you get the shipping company lined up.

It was right on time and they were great to work with on getting my baby home into my garage! Let me know what they say to you.KNUX! Costs me less than 900.00 4 years ago
