New guy and new project 1950 mercury

Well this is the start of a life long dream for me. Finally found my dream car. I bought a 1950 mercury 4 door sedan from a guy in minnesota. It has no engine, transmission or ***le. I wrench for a living and now I'm going wrench for myself for once. Considering that when the car was built 45 years before I was born I might need some advise on the "how to."
