clearances

    what is the proper clearance between the valve stem and rocker tip this is for a sbc with roller tipped rockers

    Depends on if it has solid or hydraulic lifters. As far as I know it's the same as with standard rockers.

    there hydraulic's i just dont want to mess anything

    Adjust them to zero lash and tighten an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn for the preload. Warm the motor and recheck.

    I have been running a set in my sbc for about 8 yrs. and have had no trouble with setting them using this method.
