HAMB Hudson owners, Gettysburg

Are there any HAMB Hudsons owners going to Gettysburg Hudson Nationals. Its on July 24 -28

I've been looking for a 41-46 Hudson hood... would you be willing to keep an eye out for one at the Nats?

Know it well- we used to come to Jazz Band compe***ions up there in high school, and even won "best trumpet solo" one time

Am going, hopefully Mon-Fri. Plan to 'commute' - $100+ per night for a hotel is a bit much for me, and I'd rather spend the $$ on parts for my trucks.

There is a 'gathering' of 'HET Online' members (HET Forum, HET on Facebook , etc.,), which is supposed to take place on Friday

This will be my first as well. Next year is supposed to be in CA near San Francisco, and in 2014 is supposed to be in the middle of the country again.

It is planned that way, so that a Meet will be somewhat 'close' to everyone at least once every 3 years. Then, there are the regional meets - I have yet to be to one of those either...

 

Gotta go to Getty! Just bought a 39 Series 90 Coupe project half done. (with ***le!) Need to decide whether to go with the 50's flat six Twin H or small block V8. Thursday looks like best day for the commute.

Where are you in MD? I am half way between DC & Baltimore (Severn, MD). I've got a '39 Hudson 112 myself - a pickup truck.

I'll be in Gettysburg - plan on going Tues-Fri, if I can (commuting daily - long drive, but will be worth it).

Think I know where & who you got your project from. Send me a PM, maybe we can get together, etc.. If you end up with anything extra, don't throw away anything, all those parts-n-pieces are needed.

Pictures of my '39 are on my website - (link should be at my signature, below). It hasn't gotten much farther along than it is in the photos, a bit of sheet metal removed. However I'm getting to it now - if this weather will just get a bit cooler!
