A friend and fellow Hudson fan named Gary Chuesberg died in a fire early this morning, 19 July. His house caught fire around midnight, and he died as a result. He was the president of the Dust Bowl Chapter of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club. Gary drove a very nice '41 Hudson Super Six that he'd built himself, and owned for many years. He drove the wheels off that! He enjoyed driving it in parades and various car events. It and a sweet o/t Lincoln Mark V got burned up in the fire, so there is not even a legacy left of his passing.

Attached is a link to the Daily Oklahoman news article, as well as a video.

Too many people I know are passing, and far too soon in their lives. Today sucks.

    RIP Gary.

  22. Thanks for the good words, guys. Gary was a really great guy. Never heard him angry or having a bad word about anyone.

  23. A man's greatest legacy is how he's remembered by his family and friends, not by material things. Your friend did well.

    Godspeed.
