I'm a newborn here with a question. Has anyone got any opinions on this frame?

Seems like a good way to go. And would save a lot of time.

    Or should I build?

Need info, what do you want to build; how much power; traditional or modern; etcetc.
Never heard of wintec, maybe you should give us a picture of the frame and a picture of a car similiar to what you want to build. The guys on here and fill in the blanks from frame to finished product.

You will get more info on Wintec on the T Bucket site http://www.tbucketeers.com/ From what I have read, they are a small and reputable company to deal with.

    Cheers

I believe WINTEC is run by the relatives of Mickey Lauria. He used to own total Performance. If the A frame is as good as thier T frames, it's going to be of good quality. I have a Total frame under my bucket and the quality is A-1.

I talked with Jim about this frame for my coupe, this will work for the stock look just fine and the quailty is very good. I think they are former employee's of Total who own it now and seem like good people.

I recently got the deluxe 26/27 frame from WINTEC. Very nice product and as I understand it, it is originally from Total Performance.

That's what I'm running in my T. The S-10 rear is the perfect size. Mine has 3:73 gears in it. It's also the 2WD version.

  15. In the pic of the coupe with the frame under it, the wheels don't seem to be centered very well in the front fenders. Pat

Front fenders look real odd, the building behind the car is also bent. Bob [IMG]

Yah I see what you mean.
Fender could be cut and welded shorter.

    Thanks
