I am looking at buying a 76 triumph bonneville 750, but want to make it a hardtail bobber. i have been looking for hardtail frames, or rear sections, but cant seem to find anything for a 76 because of the wet tube frame. does anyone have any pics of cool 76's or know where i can maybe get a hardtail frame that everything else will work on, or if i just have to hack my stock one up and make my own stuff? any help is greatly appreciated.adam

damn, i've never heard of any triumph being hard to find a hardtail for.

so the 650's have more frames available cause they're more common then the 750?

OIf are not popular but with the likes Of Hatch's house of Triumph puttin one out for the world and Gringo postin up a pics on another board they aint gonna be the best kept secret anymore. Most of the oif stuff is gonna have to be fabbed not a direct bolt on job or everyone would be doin it.Also been the backbone of the hoop is bigger dia. your gonna have to run a stock tank or do some fancy reworkin to make it fit.
See pics below that Gringo posted and check hatchs bike out on the Jockey if ya missed it.

  5. Don't know if they're still around but AMEN used to make a bang tail frame and a bolt on for the oil in frame turnup.

You could actually make your own, its just a triangle with a couple of axle plates welded on.
