A friend of mine that is not into cars was recently asked to be executor of his wife's great uncle's estate. The guys was a hoarder and kind of a recluse. He ac***ulated stuff for 60 years and never sold anything. Here are some pictures of what we found when he said we could come look and buy some items. He couldn't believe that we spent hours digging through the piles. There was an old collapsed camp trailer full of NOS lenses from the 20's, 30's and 40's. I will get more pics later.

We bought 3 pickup loads including the Columbia, the Indian motor and the '46 Dodge pickup. Trying to work a deal on the '36 pickup and going back for another load tomorrow.

Some of these photos are downright beautiful. Who needs Ansel Adams, when we have Axle Adams?

Nice score! Grab those grill shells and steel wheels too.

Man, is that stash cool or what ??? :D Save as much of it as you can afford, even if you have to take out a loan or whatever. Opportunities like this only come along every so often, and you could recoup a lot of your outlay by selling off what you don't need.

It would be a shame to see any of that stuff s****ped. If you don't grab as much as you can you will be kicking your **** years from now.........been there, done that.

Good thing you posted this on the HAMB where a lot of this old iron (hopefully most of it) might be put back into service.

  14. Seriously, buy it all if there is any way you can.
Every picture has gold in it!!!
I am sure you would be able to get all your money back and more.

I love the old hard hat, that things stylin ;~P

It's a killer find and neat to look thru the pictures at all the different buried items in there. I don't have a big enough truck for a all the stuff I see there that I could want.

Thank God that there are hoarders, because all of this stuff is in one location!:D You are one lucky cat to come across this. Thank your lucky stars and go buy a lotto ticket. You have hit pay dirt (literally). And me... I'm drooling:eek:.

Yeah, get that 36 pickup. The 55, 56 Chevy's and all the loose sheet metal before the s****pers sniff this out.

  23. Looks like my friends house!

Could use a pair of 1935 Pontiac tear drop lenses and bezels... if you can find them in that pile of NOS tail light stuff.

A guy should be able to pull enough good stuff out of there to fill a half dozen spaces at Portland next year. That is after pulling the really cool stuff out and piling up the damaged beyond repair stuff up to be s****ped.

That's only a ways down the road from me too.

What a beautiful find, BUY IT ALL, these deals don't come along every day. If there is one item you really want BUY IT or tell the owner YOU WANT IT! I had a few great deals sold out from under me because I didn't say something when I first saw the stuff. Bob

Looks like a 56 Chevy 4 door hardtop in the 210 model version. Don't see many of those like you do the Bel Airs.
