Ok so yesterday I posted I was done with my 50 chev rag and needed something else to do. So what happens- I walk into my buddies shop a few minutes ago and this is sitting there-1936 Oldsmobile 3 window business coupe ALL original!!! He says its for sale but doesn't know the price. I came home to get a better camera and change clothes to climb underneath. Been looking for a 3 window for years! Don't know much about the Olds except the lines are killer! Friday the 13th might be my lucky day! Going back down to meet the owner and see what he wants for it.

That needs nothing other than a lowering and some skirts.

It looks great. My projects always look like scrap, I wouldn't know what to do with a nice one...

Congrats, seems like Friday the 13th is your lucky day. That Olds is clean and I agree with Brian, lowering and a pair of skirts and it’s done.

Cool car, does it have a straight 8 in it? That hood sure or long enough for one.

Man, it's nice. I love the late '30s GM coupes.

Lower it and some skirts. drop the headlights down like Westergard style. Change the wheels to some steelies with some original Hollywood flippers. Just change stuff you could easily put back if you ever want/need too.

That thing is beautiful, it needs to stay away from the 50s styles, and stay in the late 40s era - mild custom.

BTW I'm assuming thats your daughter sitting in it in the picture? With all due respect, she's a beautiful girl! It's okay if I say that... I'm only 18 :p

My first build was a 36 olds three window. I loved that car. It was my daily driver for several years until I got tired of fighting the wood in the doors.

  30. That is beautiful,..doesnt need much done in my opinion,...just lots of driving!
