Hello. My name is Greg and I'm a hot rod addict... Alot of people call me Rooster, hence the screen name. I live in the OKC area, own a HVAC business and mess with old cars, trucks, and motorcycles in my spare time. I'm currently building a model A coupe and have a 1935 ford pickup that's next. I also have an old c-10, GTO, and a old triumph bobber/chopper. I grew up around old iron and developed a passion for it thanks to my Pop. He currently has several old rods, from parts cars, projects and completed cars. Makes it handy when needing parts. Thanks Dad! I've lurked around for a long time and finally decided to join. Glad to be here! I know how y'all like pics, so I'll try and figure it out and post a couple of my cars. Thanks, Rooster
welcome from mo. i do hvac work also. with this heat i dont have any time for cars right now. just try to relax at night on here. spend my days trying to keep people cool while i'm burning up outside working on there a/c.
Thanks for the welcome guys! Hey fastcar, I hear you on the heat. Been crazy busy, and too hot and tired to work on my cars in the evening. We set a record yesterday here with 109*. Lowveedub, sent you a pm. Thanks bro.
109 thats cool. try 112 plus humidity. 105 plus all week this week. lost count on days over 95 and 100 degrees. way to hot and dry here, but we get a 10th or 2 of rain just to keep it humid. stay cool as possible and watch for heat stroke. later.
Welcome from down the road at Marlow - 111* here today, work outside from daylite 'till 9 or 10 AM then inside in cool. Don't get much done car wise.
Hello from eastern OK. The bank sign down the street said 108* Friday, so you're not alone in the heat!
