She's gone. I've got mixed feelings about the whole deal. It's kinda sad to see my car go, but I've got bigger and better things in the works. Oh well, whatever, I'm gonna go buy $1000 worth of tools to cheer myself up. [IMG]

I sold it for more, but a grand is how much I'm gonna spend on tools. The rest is split between Mrs.fatluckys 49 biz coupe and the Infernal Revenue Service.

Wow..............I'm sooooooo sorry about this man.....My heart goes out to you. ****, I'd feel pretty sad myself. You really don't see rides like that too often. Not really the mainstream. At least you have the good memories [IMG]

Wow. I would have had a hard time letting it go if I had owned it. I always liked the color combo and interior you put together on that thing. So what's in the works? You still have that lincoln?

I'll make it back to Rapid sometime Tman, but this year the folks are Coming to TX. They're towing my new project down.
I'm gettin' GV Gordon's 56 Caddy. I hope Gear Grinder Hank approves. [IMG]
[IMG] I'll probably jinx the deal by posting this, but I've also got a model A tudor sedan in the works. The sedan will get the Cad 365 and I'm on the hunt for a 472/500 donor for the 56 Caddy. The 56 will tow the sedan to the HAMB drags (maybe not next year, but eventually) and will be the tow vehicle for my 57 Airstream. First on the list though, is finishing Mrs. fatluckys 49 Ply biz coupe for the Round-Up in the spring. The sedan-

  26. Cool Sean, you are always welcome up here. I have a couple new angles on the Rally if you want a working vacation like you talked. Those bikers like to spend money!

  27. Don't be "Bummed" Fatlucky..., you've got your fun out of it and besides you own the car..., it doesn't Own you..., RIGHT...? [IMG]

Besides this is what cars should be all about..., "Build, enjoy, sell (let someone else enjoy it!), and start on the next toy! [IMG] And you have some really cool projects to finish!!

    Have fun...! [IMG]

That's gonna be a hell of a combo, Sean. I got a thing for '56 caddys, so maybe I am biased, but it will be a perfect tow car. Damn makes me miss mine. I smogged up all of Deep Ellum one night going to a reverend show at trees. Went past the club, puffin oil all the way, car died. Rounded the corner and parked. I also met up with the Coollows one afternoon at a bbq joint and nearly killed half of Garland on the way there trying to keep it on the road, But damn I still wish I had it.
