Greetings from the Gateway to the West. I'll let my profile do the talking as far as who I am and junk. I understand the particular type of motorhead this board is for and I think that's cool, but I personally am friends with all types. My lifelong nieghbor likes restored antique Caddies. Two younger friends of mine own and love the Disco-era and 80's cars (they just don't know better). My Mopar pals like to chrome everything and powdercoat the frame and trailer to the shows. Not for me, but you gotta respect the craftmanship that goes in to a perfect neon green paint job. The lowriders are my brothers. Speaking of brothers...my brother wants to road-course the '76 Vette he just finished. And while the restomoders and ricers are still not done finding stupid new uses for billet and LEDs, they want you to know that a little shine ain't gonna kill ya. My point is that I'm grateful there is a place online like the HAMB for dyed-in-the-mohair hot rodders, but in the non-virtual world I believe all car guys can and should find some common ground and get along.

That said, the first one to call me Mr. Mom eats a knuckle sandwich (see my profile). I've got very little free time, but every minute of it is spent putting my Belair back together. I don't even like to kill too much time online when I could be in the garage. It's killing me not driving this car. I wouldn't mind finding a nice roadworthy P.O.S. to drive in the meantime instead of the minivan. I'm into hacked-up tudors and fordors, 39-51 chopped fords mercs, 50-54 GM's & 54-56 F-100's.

Hope that wasn't too long winded.

MMM.. knuckle sandwitches my favorite. While tempting, I'll pass. Hey could you have your wife talk to mine? I have been trying to get her a good paying job for a long time now but she won't even try. My dad always said that a woman generally makes half-as-much as a man--but if a man's careful, he can get by on half.
