Good Tech, some trucks are HAMB friendly, others not so much. I get it as a gift every year from the inlaws

I've been getting it since Volume 1 number 1. like every other magazine it will have a bad month and as loveoftiki said not all of the trucks are even close to HAMB friendly but you can still learn from studying those.

With the HAMB friendly thought in mind, what are the one or two best mags out there for traditional rods?

    I like Rod & Custom.

I subscribe to Custom Cl***ic Trucks as well, nice tech articles some times. But to be honest, it's same old **** every month in terms of their features; guy buys a heap, decides to redo a few things until he's in over his head.......fast forward a few years and he picks it up from the pro shop for a complete transformation. And 9 times out of 10, it's the shop owner's truck. Rinse and repeat.

I was getting "TRUCKIN" , "SPORT TRUCK" , "CUSTOM TRUCKING" and CCT for years but now i have narrowed it to just "CUSTOM CL***IC TRUCKS" (CCT)

    Get Custom Cl***ic Trucks myself.....think I paid $18.00 for 2 years. Can't go wrong.

Rod & Custom....super cheap as well.

Thanks for the recommendations on the mags hombres. I just subscribed to Custom Cl***ic Trucks, & Rod & Custom. Hopefully, they will help to keep my interest level higher in the middle of Colorado Winters.

BTW, looking for a fairly complete, original condition 41-46 Chev PU to put on the street (and to get back to my farm-boy roots, ha!) A modified truck would be OK too, just not too shiny...

    Thanks!

CCT and Cl***ic Trucks are both good mags for the $. Something like 2 years for less than $20, can't beat that...Nothing like gettin a car mag in the mail for pennies on the dollar!
