Im buildin a 30' Roadster, tring to use as much ford gear as possible! But hit the wall at steering box, i wanted to use early ford v8 box (37 on) but seams impossible with Edelbrock heads. So been thinkin maybe side steer?

  5. Early VW Kombi ( bus ) is another option for you if you want to go push/pull rather than cross steer .

you can knotch the steering column if that helps, i doesnt need to stay as a tube...

  9. The Land Rover Series truck box works well and looks pretty cool. Ironic thing is, you'd have to find a LHD model to use "down under", as the pitman comes off the inside of the box. We use the RHD version here in the States... How British is that???
