Whats up everyone....My name is Brad, Im 29 and live in Raleigh. I have always had a love for antique cars, hot rods, customs, etc. My grandfather collected old cars his whole life, and when he p***ed Sept 11, 2011, I was given his 1950 Mercury. Along with a good friend Mike, (rustflavored) we are going to make this a complete re-build. The car has definately seen its better days...Im not sure as to where to start a thread of the build, or if I just do it in this section, but either way...I look forward to posting the build as we go. Will definately be a fun project for me.

I started a build thread ***led "1950 Merc build"...We are planning to build a tube ch***is, basic 4link/air setup, chop top (am def getting alot of mixed opinions on that one lol) channel the body, smooth firewall, is basics we want to do...as for the little stuff details...who knows lol im sure they will come to me as I go
