Is this a waste? Where will/do these trucks go when the stored close? Where do they find these trucks? Anyone ever sell to them?

Never in a million years would I guess Old Navy on the HAMB. Here it is....twice. Every one I've evr been in has a truck.
BTW...called the ol lady and had her stop and get that book for me. Pretty convenient with her workin' at the mall.

Dude, the ones I've seen out here aren't near as nice as that one appears to be, they're more the rattle can duck boat color with busted gl*** and missmatched tires, but we are in Arkansas so maybe they're not so bad considering that.

I've often wondered about this too. I know the few I've seen are metal (I have to tap a finger on them) And I've also noticed there seems to be metal rods proping them up. Maybe they're just bodies...I'm sure there's no drivetrain but what about the frame?

If you go in the Gallery in Philly (the downtown mall), they have one in the Old Navy. My question is, the Old Navy is on the third floor of a mall in the middle of a large city......HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET IT UP THE ESCALATOR?

Being that the female scratch looks in there occasionally, everyone I've been in with her has had one. And some of them have been real good shape. You should have seen the looks when I crawl up and look in the windows to see the floor condition.

There is a nice GMC truck in the Old Navy at the Menlo Park Mall in Edison, NJ. No drivetrain, looks like a front subframe swap was done judging by where the front wheels sit and the tilt column. Nicely polished stainless too

I did the storefronts and doors on a couple of them stores around here. They must bring them in in pieces as the largest opening is 6 feet wide.......OLDBEET

I have been known to check out every truck in every store I go in. I have seen them in various conditions from complete (excluding drivetrain) and very straight/solid to cobbled together with a tube structure underneath.

Old Navy will never close as long as we keep buying that sweatshop-made, imported ****!!! I've hated that store ever since I realized that every pair of pants I've gotten from there had a hole in the pocket within a week, one pair within an HOUR!!!

the trucks are clean though. if they did close i'd bet they'd s**** 'em.

Ours has one, it has some nice brightwork but the truck is all mudded up. There is also one just like it at the local grocery store, same shape.

    Check out http://www.quakersteakandlube.com/

All their resturaunts are full of cars, including upside down from the cieling. But they have garage doors!

Maybe a few years from now, instead of hearing about how people found their projects in the woods buried in leaves, we'll hear about people finding trucks in abandoned clothing stores buried in ugly "tech vests". I could see it.

The one by me is in a strip mall, so I can see how they would get it in. I crawled under it and looked inside, it looked pretty clean and straight less the drivetrain. Inside was pretty bare but stock. I wonder where the hell they find them? I wouldn't be suprized if they are patched up, but they look like they did a half decent job of it.

The one here looks like it was in a field for years and then painted flat blue with a roller. The fella that delivered this one told me when they first started they made them nice (bodywork, paint, and chrome) then when they saw that it was just a select few who look at them they stopped all that. Ours has O.E.M. frame and screen door locks on the door. They also disasmble them pull fenders off and they fit right through doorways thight but it fits, if it goes upstairs they pobably strip it down totally then rebuild in the store. I also have been told that all Old Navys have them. We did the electrical on the new store in town so we were there for the delivery of the truck. When they go out of biz the market will be flooded but at least the crush is not gettin them.

Want to have some fun? Here's what you do...

If you look, alot of those trucks have no engine or trans in them. Next time you change your oil, save some of the used stuff and put it in one of those bottles with the eye dropper. Take your new toy to Old Navy, and put a few drops of oil under where the engine should be. do this every few weeks. It really is fun...

How 'bout the Truly Nolen cars? Are they all over the US or just the southwest? Those things are all over Tucson. I have seen corvairs, hudsons, nashes, all kinds of weird stuff. They look like unrestored, fairly clean and straight, redheaded stepchild cars. They move 'em around too so they get noticed.

The Great Mall over here (Old Ford plant) has an F1. I contemplated swiping the chrome grille once, but seeing as I no longer have an F1.... The Fuddruckers restaurant in Dublin has a section of an F1 mounted on the side of the building.
