I just got an what I believe is an original 37 ford v8 aluminum intake manifold. Everything looks the same as the cast one except where the fuel pump breather bolts on, it is 1" shorter than the cast one. What can I do to make it work, or did I buy something I can use? Thanks Ron

Same as on F'Barn...use 1" shorter fuel pump push-rod. DD

'35-48 Ford supplied two lengths; every olde parts place has both of them. Aluminum '37 also has a very low generator mount and needs a shorter belt than many other flatheads.

Also on early applications, the '33-38 types with slanted radiator, figgerout what you need to get it fit into the car before you bolt everything together. Those cars are very tight up front and fan has to tuck into the radiator area just so...
