  1. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Looks like a nice windshield header panel (panel above the windshield that covers the wiper motor) for '37-'39 Ford truck in that first picture, right between the two 30's grilles. Not always easy to find rust-free ones.

No Merc to go with the parts. Sorry. The whole thing is in an estate spread over 3 different places and I have to work with the executors when they have time. Still working on the parts and trying to stay patient. It looks like someone with REALLY deep pockets is going to get the '36. But I did end up with this '46 Dodge so far. Only rust is on the surface. The newspapers on the seat, registration and plates are from 1965. Even came with all 4 hubcaps. Will keep you posted as more develops.

I had one of those old dodge trucks like that for a long time, my cousin was going to build it but he ended up moving away, so I gave the truck to one of my really good friends girls, she and her hubby have been wanting to build a streetrod for a long time and just could not find something good and solid to start with and that old truck I had was a good one, so I let them have it, man were they thrilled!! They make awesome rods! Congrats on that find! Jim

I love digging thru treasure piles like that! Unfortunately those places are drying up.
