Anybody interested in doing this again? Maybe somewhere a bit more south, away from the city, maybe Clear Lake area? A bunch of cars meet up in the Target/Home Depot parking lot on Saturday nightsn in Kemah. There's lots of restaurants out there on the Kemah Boardwalk. Not really my can o' beer, but the wives and kids like that type stuff. Might make it easier to squeeze in some fun for dad in the bargain. Don't want to do sundays, too many sportos flaked out on us during football season, plus it makes for a rough day Monday morning.
Why don't y'all just drive west out of houston to Brenham and meet me. I'm on the Hamb. This Saturday is the Last night this year for Hot Night Cool Tunes. I'll be there under the pop up. We had over 90 cars last week. Sounds like a plan to me.
Rogueman, are you in Carmine? My folks had some property in Carmine for 30 years. It was the piece of land with the big flood control dam/lake on it. Spent much time out there working that property with my dad, shooting weapons, riding dirt bikes, mowing the fields and other farm/ranch related crap. God I miss that place. Nice piece of the state you live in.
How about one a month....... You could do one south, one north, one east etc???? That way everyone has a chance to be close. SN
Good idea Sam. I don't mind going to the Big City once in a while, but I prefer to stay out of there.
Whats going on in the Huston area in September? Im thinking of coming down to fish on the gulf but I want to do some car stuff to. Might even have the 56 F100 drivable.
I'd come, but will probably be on foot since my only HAMB compliant car is a LONG way from being ready for the road.
You dont need a HAMB friendly car. Just a high tolerance for alcohol. South of Houston is too far for me. I wouldn't mind catching up with some of you dickheads though. Been off the HAMB forever.
I'm down Richard - just let me know when and where. I'm getting ready to break ground on a new shop in The Heights and could host something later this year for the folks willing to make the drive into the "big city".
We moved downtown a few years ago because the commute was too bad - just getting around to finally building a shop that should be done in a couple of months. I'll have to throw a big party to celebrate!
