I'm trying to figure out the type of fitting I will need to run hard lines to my 97's. I would like to use compression fittings, but I'm not sure what I need. I've attached a couple of pictures of the needle and seat fitting that I currently have on the carbs. Can I use this with additional compression fittings or do I need to buy a different needle and seat. Fittings are really confusing to me so any help is appreciated.
Look at the MAC'S web site, do a search for 'Fuel line' under early ford and you will see 1/4" line with compression fittings (olives) and the required nut to fasten them. aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh here you go http://macsautoparts.com/early-v8-f...buretors-a9243b/camid/F30/cp/JS0R3CHL1140503/
They're called "Fordnuts"... 1/2-20 thread, same internal thread as the inlet fittings you're using. I have a drawer full. PM for details.
