Today I picked up a real solid 56 Chevy 4 door . In storage around 30 years with some recent work done on drive train. Less than 100 miles on an overhaul, new tires , new brakes and new dual exhaust. I am stoked. Me and a friend unloaded the car and fired it up and drove it for a couple hours today, sounds and runs awsome. Need interior work but I can handle that.
What are we "looking" at? The title should lose say, "Read what followed me home..... But, nice find anyway. Post pictures if you can.
Really nice car,you can really appreciate the rear doors after bringing up a family with one.The wife has one, she's had it for 30yrs.
Yes , it will be nice with the grandkids. My plans are to drop the front a bit and leave the rest alone and have fun with it, maybe do a little interior work this winter. The cars to nice to do anything major to.Should be fun.
I was waiting for someone to say that. That's a really nice looking car as it is, and unless you uncover major body rust or damage I think it should be left as is. Except for some dress up like tires/wheels and a really comfy interior. Set it up for cruisin with the family or your close buds.
Yup that would look great... right next to the million others EXACTLY like that. I'd go as-is! Looks awesome, she wears her age very well. Dare to be different in spite of all the others who want it to be "different" just like the others, yet another 2 tone shoebox.
