Tell us about the 28 pickup,,,,,was it built from a sedan?

Here in the U.S. our 28/29 pickups have square sides and are kinda boxy,,,,your truck appears more like our 30/31 models with the exception of the cowl area,,,,

    I like it a lot! :D HRP

That's what I was thinking. Looks like a sedan rear and the weld lines on the body suggest the same thing.

yep its an 1928 tudor that is cut into a pickup.
will probally run an 1953 olds rocket with lasalletrans (caddy 1953 manual with alloy flywheel)

its crammed only because i got to much cars , the space is great, i still need to move 4 more cars there that is mine ouch... 11 cars is sick...

how do you know what kind of kaiser is what?

i found one at a local yard in somewhat of a distressed shape but still cool. it looks to be of '52-ish vintage but it has all the badges off of it in the car i was told. its a two door sedan with of all things a hatchback looking tailgate set-up.

    whattya think it is?

easy to tell kaisers apart, atleast the 51-54 ones (in 1955 they didnt produce so many and almost only difference is another hood scoop), 1951 kaisers have a thin grilllip and no bumper guards like that small taillights, 1952 have grille like that and bumper guards, 1953 is almost simular to 1952 except chrome spear on top on rear fenders + headlight rims have "spears" on each side... 1952 + 1953 have same taillights
1954 have different front end and different taillights, 1954 early special do not have wrap around rear window (i belive its unsold 1953 kaisers that got the new front end and taillights and sold as 1954's)
, and same dash as 1951-1953 (basicly), hatchback = vagabond model name, exceptions is 1952 virginian models that are basicly 1951 kaisers that wasnt sold so they got rebadged with the model name virginian,

are some minor differences more but anyhow that is the easiest way to tell them apart

well if you do sell some of it, you will have room to work on the rest.
