Retro Photo at The Hot Rod Hayride

The weekend is done.....and here are a few to whet your whistle......

Every year, more effort goes into the creations for the soapbox derby.




For shear detail and effort, this won it for me. Engine details were perfect!


Demon Drome put on a spectacular show as always.


Bit tight for space in there...what with the band and all!! ha ha

My missus rode the wall of death as a kid in the late 1950s. She says it paid real good back then.

 

Cheers mate....dunno what the hell they were photographing......guy in the middle shoots film, cant remember his name, beaten up ole Nikon F3 with a motordrive...whizzing through the films but you could see he planned every single frame....keeping it ole skool baby!!

 

I think he's German and his name is Dale, Nick and me got talking to him in the bar on Saturday night...rest is a bit of a blur...!
