You know whats strange though? Fenton made their valve covers completely different than Edmunds for the Buick. Not sure what the deal there is. Maybe molds were already bad?

I'm thinking there may have been two different designs/molds for the Edmunds, as I have seen more than one pic that look like the polished one with more of contour to it, where the riser is not straight across as it seems in Carb Ottos pic.

    Interesting conversation!
To avoid misconception; it is not my intake nor car, I only linked photo of it.
Car was seen by someone in L.A. Roadster Show while ago

I took a few pics the other night but havent gotten them loaded yet.
Both the Edmunds 2x2 and fenton 2x2 have slightly contoured flanges. The edmunds 2x4 is a bit more square. But I know, this is useless with out pics. Yup, just jabber.

  5. Thanks guys. The only problem is the hood clearance. So 2 x 4's is probably the way to go. If anyone knows of someone getting rid of a good 2x4 intake.. let me know.

    Can't pass up the Nailhead!

For now, I'm running the tri-powered set up on a 401 in my 36 Ford Pick up.

But a new build is underway since getting my hands on this sick manifold.....to be continued. ImageUploadedByTJJ1352488317.189011.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1352488331.132720.jpg ImageUploadedByTJJ1352488361.082258.jpg

Can't forget the 55 Buick with the 322 nailhead.

  13. The latest update on mine. I pinch myself everytime I look at it...

Mr. Isky himself was in Indy last week and came by to check out the project himself.

The man himself with Jo Kerr.

And yes, Isky is grinding a cam for the car.

    Life is good...

Here's my contribution. '64 425 in my roadster, coupled with a TKO 600. Definitely a blast to drive.

Bigger shot of my Avatar. 487 cid, 401 + .125 over, Winfeild camshaft M/T forged pistons HTC welded 4.250 stroker crankshaft. I was told by the original owner of the boat it came out of 1 of Ivo's cars. He couldn't make the hilborn run right so it was swapped for 2x4's.

I've heard of the "last nail in the coffin", but a nailhead in a coffin is just sad!!

Hoping to be able to save the flywheel and sp400 from this.
