Me and my dad are going to Bonneville for the first time this year. I'll be flying into Denver then driving to the salt. We'll have a few days to kill so I was trying to decide what to do on the way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If your coming this weekend Golden has their super cruise on saturday Aug 4th and go to the mountains and enjoy the scenery. Go to rocky mountain national park and see alot of different animals. If you go to the mountains and go thru Idaho Springs ya got to have pizza at Beau joes. Me and my wife are heading to the salt also and cant wait. Jason

"Speed' exhibit at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts at the University of Utah. Well worth the stop. 5 historic Bonneville cars, 18 more you will never see again...you will enjoy it.

  10. Stop in Palisade Colorado (just east of Grand Junction), and have yourself a peach. Best damn peaches I've ever had.

  11. There is so much good food and beer across Colorado as well as the sights. Just stop whenever you see something cool.

Check out the Forney Transportation Museum here in Denver. It is open daily on your way off I 70 . Googal it. If you want to see tons of hot rods the Golden Colorado super cruze is awesome, well worth your effort to go. I highly recommend it.

If you go through park city, you should hit the alpine slide.

Hit Glenwood Springs, right on the way on I-70. Great place to spend the night or just get a beer and a meal. Prettiest drive in the state, too.
