I'll see ya there, what a great nostalgia event ! The car count will be crazy with 77 cars showing up for a regular series race, maybe triple that number.

So, is this a bracket, index, or heads up deal?

 

1/8th mile bracket for nostalgia gas and mod gas, the double A cars might be heads up but not sure.

Seen a few of the guys at test n tune on Wednesday, they are getting ready for a good time !

 

I was there Wednesday working on RT. I keep lighting the red, Talked with a number of people and we think I'm picking the front wheels up before breaking the beam.

I'm going again tonight and lowering the wheelie bar to see if that fixes the problem.

 

I seen you and even talked to Jack for a bit, I was pitted on the end of the row a couple trailers down from you. I lost a tenth and a half mph with the new carb changes so I'm changing things too.

 

Well the problem is not lifting the wheels out of the lights. If I leave on the bottom yellow I get a .365 reaction time, if I shorten all my adjustments up (raise the lauch RPM, shorten the throw on the trans brake, raise the wheelie bar) and leave on the green I get a .736 light.

In order to get a good light I have to leave between the time the yellow comes on and before the green. (guess)

I really want to set it up to leave on the last yellow, with no delay box

Suggestions?

Did we mention this track is out in the country, so it's even a great drive to get there.
