does anyone know what chevy rear axle assembly will bolt into a 1949 chevy styleline deluxe 2dr sedan? I bought one that the previous owner installed a 350 engine/350 trans, but put in a chrysler 8 3/4 rear with 3:90 gears. I want to switch to a chevy rear but have limited funds ( who doesn't ! ) all the work I do on the car is done on NYC streets with mostly hand tool and a floor jack, so I basically need one that will bolt in and be close to the proper width. thanks
