I was looking at getting one when I got my tig. So I did done Resurch and ran across everlast welders. I got my 200dx from them for less than a grand and it dose almost as much as the miller syncowave I had four years ago. The pulse option is awesome. I'll tell you I'd get another.
Had mine about a year now, very impressed, yeah it is not a Miller. but damn it still is quite a piece.
I have the Everlast 250x tig with watercooler. $2000 for both machine & water cooler. Has both foot pedal or thumb control on the torch. Very nice machine! I have a buddy who has a $6000 Miller and welded with mine and couldn't tell the difference. Had it for almost 2 years now with no issues. 3 year warranty on it.
I've got one. I wen't around in circles when my Miller died trying to decide what to do next. This is after my first...Miller died. Old in years but not in wire that's p***ed thru them...! I've done both sheet metal, up thru 1/4" steel. So far, my Eastwood has surp***ed both Millers in wire used, with no signs of trouble. Mike
