58 Chevy step-side tail light

I am looking for some good ideas besides the stock tail lights for my pick-up. Any pics or good ideas? No Mustang lights please

 

I was going to do Fairlane lights on mine if I could find pots big enough.

I also like the caddy bullets and the little round merc lights

64 impala round t-lights turned upsidedown & put on the fenders

 

Saw this a few years back, still dig the idea. Will have to mount it a different way of course, maybe on the side of each pocket ......

 

I've made more than a few of those for R/rod & chopper guys,very cheap and easy,
A piston with a shortened rod cleaned up,a cheap *** 18-24 L.E.D light from the big rig store,cut the center out of the piston,trim the LED down to fit in/on the head of the piston & drill two hole for the screws & ta-DA a cheap *** light THAT YOU made!

P/S you can also use 62-64 Chevy car lenses instead of the semi-clear red ones.

 

I like mid-90's Caddy tail lights grafted into the stake pockets...kinda like this;

 

Wouldn't they point up in the air??
